Ugh. I feel like I’m never going to finish this and considering how it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere, I can’t really feel that’s a bad thing.

I clearly don’t understand skin.

Also, this. Which I uploaded to facebook.

I’ve been feeling like poop, so I’ve been curled up in a blanket, drawing while half-heartedly watching the Harry Potter marathon. I couldn’t get my face right. And I don’t like the colours very much. :/

I’m sorry I puked a rainbow over your baby face, Dean — if that’s really you. Not only is it my first try replicating your face, it’s my first try painting with my trackpad.

Wow, I must really not want to do homework right now.

Evil Diva Fanart: Drawn in May of 2011. I figured I might as well post something—even if it is a year old—because I routinely neglect this blog.

Evil Diva’s this cute webcomic that I used to really love. When the Diva series jumped from middle school to high school plot lines, I got really excited for Diva’s wardrobe and came up with my own ideas.

This is what I chose to do instead of studying last night.

Unfinished: So, once upon a time, a month or two ago, this was a nearly finished picture with more dandelions and clouds. Then my computer froze and wouldn’t respond to anything, and I had to restart it in order to get it back in working order. Upon restarting though, I lost everything I had painted in my previous session and my layers were merged. Thanks, computer and SketchBook Express. Thanks a lot.

After lying to myself that I would finish it again, I allowed myself to accept that, no. I wouldn’t return to this picture. So, here we go. Another digital image that will never be completed, but is almost decent enough that it qualifies for uploading on my tumblr.

Yesssss, pastel vomit clouds. I’m obviously still working on colouring techniques. The line art is intentionally messy. It’s only terrible as a by-product. I think I’ve given up on trying to make clean line art digitally. I might just resort to scanning my real line art in the future and figuring out how to digitally colour it from there.

All those circles and floating islands are things that have lived in my sketchbooks for years. This is the first time I’ve ever tried digitally drawing them. The random, malformed naked chicks, well, I think I’ve been drooling over Aya Takano too much lately. And pastel coloured hair the best.

Overall, yes. This is pretty terrible, but I’ve been in funk lately and in addition to not knowing what to make my hand do over paper, I haven’t even had the time to scribble crap down. So hopefully, this will break that. If not, I’m just going to continue making pastel coloured naked chicks chilling on random shapes.
